Setting Up Your Brand in VirtusNova
Learn how to set up your brand after creating your VirtusNova account so we can deliver tailored content, captions, and hashtags for your business.

After creating your account, you’ll see a screen with two options:

Start the Onboarding Flow
Click Setup Brand to begin.
Business Name
Enter the brand name your customers will recognize on social media.
💡 This doesn’t need to be your legal business name — it should be the name your audience connects with.
Business Category
Choose the relevant category from the dropdown.
Example: For a restaurant, select a food-related option.
Business Location
Add your physical address if you have a brick-and-mortar location.
Online-only businesses may leave this blank if preferred.
Select the language for your content ideas, captions, and hashtags.
Example: English
VirtusNova uses your audience information to tailor content for maximum impact.
While all social media users can see your posts, audience groups help shape content that resonates with the right people.
Example: Staff Recruitment Audience
Age: 18–45
Gender: Male & Female
Target Location: Cologne, Bonn, Düsseldorf
Interests: Italian food, customer service, making pizza
➡ Save the group by clicking Create Audience Group.
You can:
✏️ Edit groups anytime
🗑️ Delete groups with one click
Consider adding a second group — for example, potential customers.
Provide unique details about your business, products, or services.
This helps VirtusNova generate content ideas and captions that highlight your strengths.
Click Save in the bottom-right corner.
Saved brands appear in the dropdown menu.
If unsaved, the button will still show Add Brand.
Click Connect Later to skip connecting social media for now.
On your homepage, you’ll find:
A brand switcher (if you manage more than one brand)
A library of helpful onboarding videos
A setup checklist showing progress

Brand set up ✔
