Step 1: Getting Started

After creating your account, you’ll see a screen with two options:

  • Explore VirtusNova further

  • Start the Onboarding Flow

Click Setup Brand to begin.

Step 2: Enter Your Brand Details

Business Name
Enter the brand name your customers will recognize on social media.

💡 This doesn’t need to be your legal business name — it should be the name your audience connects with.

Business Category
Choose the relevant category from the dropdown.

  • Example: For a restaurant, select a food-related option.

Business Location

  • Add your physical address if you have a brick-and-mortar location.

  • Online-only businesses may leave this blank if preferred.

Step 3: Set Idea and Post Language

Select the language for your content ideas, captions, and hashtags.

  • Example: English

Step 4: Create Audience Groups

VirtusNova uses your audience information to tailor content for maximum impact.

  • While all social media users can see your posts, audience groups help shape content that resonates with the right people.

Example: Staff Recruitment Audience

  • Age: 18–45

  • Gender: Male & Female

  • Target Location: Cologne, Bonn, Düsseldorf

  • Interests: Italian food, customer service, making pizza

➡ Save the group by clicking Create Audience Group.

You can:

  • ✏️ Edit groups anytime

  • 🗑️ Delete groups with one click

Consider adding a second group — for example, potential customers.

Step 5: Add Additional Business Information

Provide unique details about your business, products, or services.

This helps VirtusNova generate content ideas and captions that highlight your strengths.

Step 6: Save Your Brand

Click Save in the bottom-right corner.

  • Saved brands appear in the dropdown menu.

  • If unsaved, the button will still show Add Brand.

Step 7: Explore the Homepage

Click Connect Later to skip connecting social media for now.

On your homepage, you’ll find:

  • A brand switcher (if you manage more than one brand)

  • A library of helpful onboarding videos

  • A setup checklist showing progress

    • Account created ✔

    • Brand set up ✔

    • Next: Connect social media profiles
