If you're not seeing the accounts you want to connect, it’s likely due to your Instagram account type or missing Facebook Page linkage.
To publish directly via VirtusNova, your Instagram account must be a Professional (Business or Creator) account and must be connected to a Facebook Page where you are an Admin.
Step-by-Step: Convert and Link Your Instagram Account
Step 1: Switch to a Professional or Creator Account📱 These steps must be done using the native Instagram mobile app.
Open the Instagram app.
Tap your profile icon, then tap the menu (≡) in the top right.
Go to Settings & Privacy → tap Account.
Scroll down and tap Switch to Professional Account.
Choose either:
Business (recommended for companies and brands)
Creator (recommended for influencers, artists, or public figures)
Follow the on-screen setup process.
Step 2: Link Your Instagram to a Facebook Page✅ Important: Instagram Creator accounts are now supported by most third-party tools, including VirtusNova.
Once your account is set to Professional or Creator, you'll need to link it to a Facebook Page:
Return to your Instagram profile.
Tap Edit Profile.
Scroll to the Page section.
Select a Facebook Page that:
You manage (must be Admin)
Represents your business or brand
Common Issues & How to Fix Them💡 If no Page appears or you’re not listed as an Admin, log in to your Facebook account and assign the correct role.
Still not seeing the account?
Confirm your Instagram account type is not Personal.
Ensure your Instagram account is properly linked to a Facebook Business Page.
