How to Disconnect Surplus Social Media Channels in VirtusNova | Step-by-Step Guide for Downgrading Your Plan

When downgrading your VirtusNova subscription plan, you may need to disconnect surplus social media channels to match your new plan's limits. This guide will walk you through the process step by step.

1. Access Your Social Profiles

There are two ways to access your connected social media profiles:

Option 1: Quick Access Menu

Navigate to the top right corner of your dashboard and select "Social Profiles" from the menu.

Option 1: Dashboard View

Scroll down on your main dashboard to locate the section displaying your connected social media profiles.


2. Disconnect the social media profile

Once you've accessed your social profiles, follow these steps:

1-Locate the social media channel you want to disconnect

2-Click on the three dots menu next to the channel

3-Select Disconnect from the dropdown options
Important: What Happens When You Disconnect

Before confirming the disconnection, please be aware of the following:

Content That Will Be Deleted:
  • Scheduled posts in your calendar
  • Drafted posts that haven't been published
Content That Remains Intact:
  • Already published posts will remain live on your social media channel, but no longer visible within your VirtusNova interface.
Once you understand these implications, click "Yes, disconnect" to complete the disconnection.

3. Continue with the plan downgrade 

After successfully disconnecting your surplus social media channels, you'll be able to proceed with your plan downgrade process.
